Woo! So I'm a swinger :P... That term sounds way too much like a kind of dance... "It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing..." Anyways. The night before last I went out with Sebastian. Let me just say: he dresses amazingly. Bonus! He's cool, but I don't see us getting into a serious relationship. Last night I went out with Dave, and it was really weird because he got randomly really 'friendly'... I was just going umm... wha.. what are you doing?
"I just wanted to cuddle..." OH wrong quote there, sorry. :P
Today I am going out with a girl named Dana to my friend Mark's Improv Tournament... I don't know whether you'd consider it a date or not, but whatever.

I'm finding myself to be uncontrollably talkative lately... I think that's what's now happening when I get nervous. I used to not say much, but now I'm forcing myself to not do that so much that now I'm talking a lot more. lol. I feel so annoying, though. But then again, I ALWAYS feel like I'm annoying EVERYONE.

So why am I a swinger? Why can't I just pick a guy and get into a relationship? Because I don't like them. I realized that until I can be sitting down for coffee with someone so amazing that I can't believe I've been so blessed to find such a person, and have him reciprocate my feelings... I won't be happy in a relationship. Matthew I really liked, but he wasn't like that, so I was constantly wishing for something more. I'm looking for a cute, over 20 guy in university, studying something interesting, who likes music and has a lot in common with me, to just take my breath away. Why university? Because that's where I'm headed. It's a turn on when guys talk to me about their classes and such... I know, I'm a nerd. Matthew used to talk to me about his college course, but I'd just roll my eyes and laugh to myself because his classes were easier than mine.

It's why I haven't entirely gotten over Grant... because he is the only person that I've met in this world to meet that criteria... once I meet someone else who does, I'm sure he'll be history.

Anyways, this post has gone on too long. I'll stop now.

I don't understand people who will actually go to war to shoot people.
Why is war still in existence?? Can't they just play a good game of chess and settle it that way? If you think that's ridiculous... read on!

War is a game.

WAROPOLY

Rules and Directions:
Why it happens: Because people can’t accept the fact that people don’t all think the same way and believe in the same things. (Iraq is trying to convert the US to their religion and way of life, because they believe their god wants them to do this.)

Object of the Game: reduce the number of opposing players in order to bring down their government.

Game Play: May take years of training, and play. Equip your men with the best bombs, guns, and artillery and use it against the opposing size! Construct elaborate plots and plans of attack against the other side. Eliminating the leaders of the opposing side and taking control is usually an automatic win, but watch for conspirators! Gain control by inflicting fear! The side with the most control in the end wins!

War: Innocent people fighting against innocent people. Dying for a stupid feud between the stupid people who are in charge of them. The Just because one side has better guns and bombs, that automatically makes them superior. REAL smart. And just because Jim has a bigger house and a better job automatically makes him better. It's like a giant, bloody version of chess. Yes, sometimes we have to do something to preserve our way of life; to keep it from being invaded by other people’s radical ideas. Meaning, Hitler obviously had to be stopped. But if people weren’t so easily taken in by him, he would have never come to power. Think about this: if we invested more money in educating people instead of turning them into sheep as we are currently, maybe people wouldn’t be so impressionable? Just a thought.

Imagine a Canadian/American soldier killing a soldier on the opposing side. Since he is not white, speak our language, live in our country... does that mean he is unimportant? Does his life suddenly not matter? How is this fair? The man other side also could have been forced into going to war, which is also completely unfair. The poor man probably has a wife and kids at home who are praying for his safe return. They may even be completely dependent on this man... what will they do without him?
He may have a mother and father who love him. Imagine your only son going to war. You have put your whole life into this person; loved him, cared for him, etc. For him to be ripped away like that must be devastating. Was he such a bad person? Probably not. Yet if a good man were set to the streets and hunt and kill a truly bad man for raping someone’s 9-year-old daughter, he would be prosecuted. Yet a veteran is praised. Where is the justice in this???

I didn’t mean for this to be so long haha. It wasn’t meant to be a scholarly piece of writing, either… I’m just trying to write out some thoughts.
